Main project 2008 - please help- urgent

Can anybody help me out.As you know i am doin my s7 an need to do main project.As hamid is no more here ECE guys are allowed to do external projects.

Do you mean "official" external projects or unofficial external projects? Laughing

If its places where they coach you how to do/what to do that you want to know, then you can consider Rhydo/Focuz/Grey etc in EKM and BigLeap in Calicut. I can't remember any others right now...but the problem is that if you ask anyone who has been to these places, they will ask you not to go. A guy who did his project at Focuz will say, go anywhere other than Focuz and vice versa. The best thing you can do is to visit all places possible and see for yourself as to what the conditions there are...whether they are able to understand what you want or not. The best thing might be for you to do something that's already been done at their place, that way, you can be sure that they know it and if there is any problem with your own setup, you can always depend on theirs! One thing though, do NOT go to Solutions, its one of the worst places! And no, I didn't do my project there, but I had an opportunity to have a look at their "lab"! Man, it was like a standard kitchen with only a slab for keeping a few components! No furniture, nothing! Their office looks rather impressive though! Mad

If its factories where you can go to that you want to know, the best thing would be to ask your own seniors as that would depend on the branch. Since I'm from EEE, I can't really help...you can ask some of the members from here itself, I'm sure they would help since they would be free now! Smile

I really mean OFFICIAL external project.

I have really asked many seniors an they told me of only 4 comp
1ISRO
2keltron
3ITC,pkd
4bsnl tcr
but all these place have a prob, we just go there sit there simply an come with certificate.
I would really LOVE to do something if i can

Yes, unfortunately, all(well, atleast 99%) the companies have a restriction that way. Its because they are quite established and they don't want you messing up with their work Wink

But I believe Keltron in TVM atleast lets you do some work...you could try giving them a call and checking. Ultimately, just take a project like this as an industry exposure - it would eventually help you when you get a job (hopefully!)
