Personal Experience

We had three rounds of selection, an written test that covered general aptitude, critical reasoning and vocabulory. Questions from previous papers are usually repeated, so do make it a point to go through them.

For vocabulory, GRE Barrons could be of some help, though previous question papers should really cover and its better you do not attempt GRE Barrons during the last few days as it could hamper your confidence rather than of being any help.

Aptitude consists of some simple, but tricky questions, the answers to which most people will get, the only difference between the winner and the loser is that the winner gets to the answer in the shortest possible time, so figure out some short-cut methods!

Next comes the Technical Interview, here, the most important thing is to stand out from the crowd...present yourself as a unique person who's got the right quantity of quality!
Do NOT lie your way through, because you'll invariably be caught...

Finally, the HR Interview, this is really an eye-wash, what they asked me about was what I did in the recent holidays and where I hail from, etc.
One notable question was, who the CEO was, which is why I have posted the Board of Directors above.

Last, but not the least, your resume. This is probably the most under-rated feature when thinking of placements and aspiring candidates generally tend to copy one other's resumes. But this is a strict no-no! Create your own resume YOURSELF! Its the one thing that will remain with your prospective employers, so make it stand out! Be careful to restrict it to just 2 pages though, don't over-sell yourself!
