Details of posts for which applications are invited for appointment are the following.

Qualifications
Category 1 to 6 : First class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 (Eighteen) years of age and should not have completed 35 (thirty five) years of age as on 1/10/2007 (upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years for OBC candidates).

General Conditions
1. The qualifications prescribed for the post shall be one acquired by the candidate on or before the last date fixed for receipt of application for the post.
2. Details of previous experience, if any, of the applicant may be given as an annexure to the application form.
3. Sale of Application Form : Application forms can be had from the Office of the Director, IHRD Head Quarters, Vazuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram-14, all IHRD Engineering Colleges (at Attingal, Karunagappally, Adoor, Kottarakkara, Cherthala, Chengannur, Kallooppara, Poonjar and Model Engineering College, Ernakulam), College of Applied Science, Calicut and from EKNM Model Polytechnic College, Kalliassery on payment of Rs.100/-. (For SC/ST candidates Rs.50/-) from 24/10/2007 to 17/11/2007. Those who require the application by post may apply to the Director, IHRD Prajoe Towers, Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram-14 along with a self addressed envelope (27cm x 11cm) and a Demand Draft preferably from SBT for Rs.130/- drawn in favour of the Director, IHRD and payable at Thiruvananthapuram (In the case of SC/ST candidates Rs.80/-). The last date of sale of application by post is 12/11/2007.
4. Registration Fee: A non-refundable Account Payee Demand Draft (preferably from State Bank of Travancore) for Rs.300/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Director, Institute of Human Resources Development payable at Thiruvananthapuram should be sent along with the filled up application form. Candidate should write his/her name on the back of the Demand Draft.

The envelope containing the application should be superscribed "Application for appointment to the post of ……………….. under IHRD". Belated applications, incomplete/defective applications and applications without the prescribed registration fee will be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances. The request of the applicant to incorporate additional details in the application will also not be considered.

Last date for receipt of applications : Completed application form with the prescribed registration fee must reach the Director, Institute of Human Resources Development, Prajoe Towers, Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram- 695 014 on or before 21/11/2007.
